Thanks for working here this week: Julie Ieronimo, Accounting

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Allow us to introduce Julie Ieronimo, an Accounting Analyst with the CCH Accounting Department in Gillette, Wyoming. Julie has worked for CCH for more than seven years, but has been in health care for 10 years total, and is currently finishing her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration-Accounting. In the health care industry, analysts have their hands in a lot of data. Julie gathers and interprets data from a variety of sources to help CCH improve the quality of care and enhance the patient experience. Julie was a large part of helping CCH Human Resources build an Employee Portal for staff and is currently leading a major upgrade to our time and attendance system.

Julie was inspired to work in healthcare from her friends.

“I have a lot of friends who are nurses, or work in patient centered care. I know who I am, and knew that wasn’t the route for me. I still wanted to feel that I could help people, so I chose the path that lets me support my co-workers,” she says.

When asked who her health care hero was, Julie mentioned a close friend from high school, Meagan.

“She is a Nurse Manager for a hospital in Arizona. She was the manager of Medical/Surgical, helped their IT department implement Meditech 6.15, and now is the Nursing Manager in one of their Physical Therapy departments,” says Julie. “She is an AMAZING nurse. My dad was one of her patients and she was there for my parents when I couldn’t be. She is an awesome mom and fantastic wife. She finds the time to be a great employee, and maintain that work-life balance.”

When Julie isn’t at work, she enjoys spending time with her family.

“I love to spend time with my husband, Mike; sons Lucas and Dominick; and Zeus, the best dog ever. We go to Cheyenne often to see my favorite sister, Mollie. Other than that, I love reading and football (SKOL MINNESOTA VIKINGS)! Right now, I am working hard at finishing my degree in the next year, so that takes a lot of my time,” she says.

We asked Julie what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“Accounting is an amazing department to work in, and Heather is an awesome leader. We are all working toward the same goal every day, and I feel it shows.

I love my job. I love helping people. For all my career, I have worked in support departments. I love figuring problems out, and sharing my knowledge with people. My goal at the end of helping someone is giving them enough information, so that the next time something like this happens they don’t have to call me, they can do it themselves.”

Thank you, Julie, for being a part of our team. We appreciate you.
