Making Halloween spooktacular for The Legacy residents

Hey all you ghouls! The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center is working hard to make Halloween extra spooky for the residents this year, and we need your help.

Donations needed!

We are in need of donations by October 21 for:

  • new and gently used Halloween costumes so residents can dress up
  • candy, including sugar-free so staff can make treat bags for the residents
  • real pumpkins for carving, painting and decorating

Drop off donations Monday-Friday from 8 am-4 pm outside the entrance at The Legacy at 1000 S. Douglas Highway in Gillette, Wyoming. All items will be cleaned and sterilized before use.

Drive-by Halloween Parade for the Residents

Put a costume on your car, you, and/or your child/children to spread some goblin cheer for the residents at The Legacy on October 31 at 2 pm at the Drive-by Halloween Parade for the Residents!

All vehicle drivers are asked to line up starting at 1:30 pm on Eighth Street behind The Legacy transportation van to start the parade. The route will take parade drivers down Veterans Drive, passing The Legacy.

The residents will be on the balconies and in the courtyard facing Veterans Drive for their Halloween parade viewing.

The Legacy healthcare staff encourages you to honk, wave, and yell hello to the residents and staff (but, you should also abide by the 6 foot physical/social distancing rule, too). Masks are encouraged as well.

Join the Facebook event to follow the chatter.
