Gillette Moose Lodge donates Tommy Moose plush doll to EMS

Thank you to the Gillette Moose Lodge for their very generous donation of Moose International's Tommy Moose plush dolls and gift cards to the Campbell County Health Emergency Medical Services crew. The Men and Women of the Moose brought EMS together with the Campbell County Fire Department to give both departments the donation on Monday, February 1.

According to the Moose International site: "Tommy Moose® is a friendly, playful, cuddly moose doll whose sole purpose is to bring comfort to children in times of stress, uncertainty, or anxiety. He personifies one of the cornerstone tenants of the Loyal Order of Moose: caring for children."

Tommy will be given by EMS to children who have to visit the hospital to help them through the often overwhelming experience.

The Moose Lodge also gave donations to the Sheriff's Office and Policy Department earlier in the year. This contribution is one of many ways the Moose Lodge supports the Campbell County, Wyoming community. Other events and organizations the Moose Lodge supports include the Council of Community Services, Shop with a Cop, as well as cooking for an annual Thanksgiving Dinner to those in need, among many others.

This great organization is seeking more members. If you're interested, please call 307.686.0212.

Thank you again to the men and women of the Gillette Moose Lodge.
