Candace Winters, PA-C, Joins Wyoming Orthopedics and Spine

GILLETTE, Wyo. – Dec. 19, 2022 – Candace (Candy) Winters, PA-C, has joined Wyoming Orthopedics and Spine (WYOS), working alongside Drs. Stanford Israelsen, Scott Sorenson, and James Ulibarri; and physician assistants Jason Higgs, Roxanne Peters, and Sean Schoonover.

A certified Physician Assistant, Candy has over fifteen years of experience in orthopedics and urgent care and comes to WYOS from the CCH Walk-in Clinic. She will work closely with orthopedic surgeon Dr. Scott Sorenson, seeing patients for initial and post-operative visits.

“What I really appreciate is that the surgeons here (at WYOS) interact with patients throughout the whole treatment process, not just the day of surgery,” said Candy. “It’s a collaborative process that’s all about the patient—I don’t do my job if a patient has a question that wasn’t answered during their visit.”

When she’s not at work, Candy enjoys word puzzles and jigsaw puzzles, hanging out with her three boxers, and spending time with her son and granddaughter, who recently moved to Gillette.

We proudly welcome Candy to Wyoming Orthopedics and Spine and the CCH family.
