Welcome, Jennifer McGee, PA(ASCP), to the CCH Family!

Please join us in welcoming Jennifer McGee, PA(ASCP), who recently joined the Pathology Department at Campbell County Health as a Pathologist Assistant.
Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Microbiology from Colorado State University, and after working in a private pathology lab for seven years, she earned an additional Master’s degree in Pathologists’ Assistant from the University of Toledo. She brings nine years of experience in healthcare settings in Colorado and is excited to begin her first position in Gillette.
Jennifer’s journey into pathology began with an early interest in forensic pathology inspired by TV shows like CSI. However, after interning as an autopsy technician, she realized that wasn’t the right path for her. Her time in a private lab opened her eyes to the field of surgical pathology, where she discovered a passion for helping guide diagnoses through clinical analysis. What she enjoys most about her role is the ability to review a patient’s clinical history and collaborate with pathologists to support accurate diagnoses and treatment. At CCH, Jennifer hopes to help strengthen the presence of the pathology department within the community and build connections with local providers and surgeons to enhance diagnostic offerings. Originally from Colorado, Jennifer and her husband made the move to Gillette in June. In their free time, they enjoy checking titles off their “1,500 Movies to Watch Before You Die” list and occasionally stepping out for karaoke. Jennifer also loves spending quality time with her family playing board games and staying entertained by her beloved pets. We’re thrilled to have Jennifer on board and look forward to the expertise and enthusiasm she brings to the CCH team! |
