CCH Board of Trustees: Dr. John Mansell

John Mansell, M.D.

Trustee

Dr. Mansell was elected to the Board in 2022.

Growing up in Alabama, he studied bioelectrical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Engineering IT, and returned to his home state to earn his medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He completed his anesthesiology residency at the Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, achieving Board Certification in anesthesiology in 1992 and in pain medicine in 1994. He is double board certified in pain, with recognition by both the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine.

In addition to his active practice at the Wyoming Pain Institute, he also conducts research with the University of Wyoming with his company WyoBioTech and serves as President of the Wyoming Society of Anesthesiologists and on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

Moving back to his wife Dona’s home state of Wyoming in 2011, they enjoy gardening, skiing and avoiding the wind.
