About Jacob
Campbell County Health is pleased to announce that Dr. Jacob Parmley, DO, has been appointed Medical Director at Legacy Living and Rehabilitation, in addition to his current role as a provider at Campbell County Medical Group (CCMG) Family Medicine.
Dr. Parmley joined CCMG Family Medicine in August 2024 and has quickly become a highly regarded member of the healthcare team. His strong foundation in family medicine and deep commitment to patient-centered care make him a natural fit for this leadership position.
“Dr. Parmley’s thoughtful and compassionate approach to medicine reflects the values of Campbell County Health,” said Dawn Hodges, Chief Human Resources Officer for CCH. “We are excited to have him take on this expanded role and help guide the clinical vision at Legacy Living and Rehabilitation.”
Originally from Utah, Dr. Parmley earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency through the University of Wyoming in Casper. Drawn to rural healthcare and the opportunity to form long-term relationships with patients, Dr. Parmley chose to make Gillette his home alongside his family.
His path to medicine was shaped by early exposure to the healthcare field, having spent time in the hospital where his mother worked as a nurse. These experiences, combined with the lessons learned during his residency amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, reinforced his belief in the importance of holistic, continuous care for patients at every stage of life.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Parmley enjoys spending time with his family, running, listening to audiobooks, and playing board and card games.
Campbell County Health congratulates Dr. Parmley on his new role and looks forward to the positive contributions he will bring to Legacy Living and Rehabilitation and the broader community.
