Today kicks off National Nurse's Week!

Founded in 1974, National Nurses Week runs annually from May 6-12. It concludes on the birthday of Florence Nightingale, who is credited as the founder of modern nursing.

This week, we honor the more than 340 nurses at CCH who serve our community. Our nurses demonstrate excellence every day in the care that they provide our patients and embody the theme of this year’s National Nurses Week: “Ethical Practice. Quality Care.” CCH is thankful for all of our amazing nurses who are making a difference in patient's lives every day.

What would you say to a nurse who has helped you? Nurses week is a great time to show your thanks to the nursing professionals in our community. If you would like to recognize any of our wonderful nurses, please leave a comment below and we will share your thoughts with the team.
