Campbell County Memorial Hospital Earns Top Hospital Quality Award

Gillette, Wyo. — On August 10, 2017, Mountain-Pacific Quality Health recognized Campbell County Health’s Campbell County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) with a 2017 Hospital Quality Excellence Award for outstanding performance in effectively using quality assurance performance improvement methodologies to improve care practices. CCMH is one of four hospitals honored during this year’s Wyoming Quality Health Care Conference held in Casper.

To be eligible for this coveted award, winners had to meet eight categories of criteria, including antibiotic stewardship elements, patient and family engagement activities, care coordination elements and leadership qualities—awardees had to exhibit strong leadership support for providing quality care.

“This award is a reflection of the hard work of many people across the organization,” said Sue Ullrich, Director of Quality and Risk Management. “I’m especially grateful for the input we received from our Patient and Family Advisory Committee (PFAC). They give us the patient’s perspective on many aspects of our care and service.”
