Thanks for working here Thursday: Tandie Kelly, RN, CCMG OB GYN Specialists

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Say hello to Tandie Kellie, RN, at the Campbell County Medical Group OB GYN Specialists clinic with Dr. Jennifer Linden, FACOG. Tandie has worked with CCH for close to six years—she started at Home Health and Hospice, and then worked in the Internal Medicine and Ear, Nose and Throat clinics before making the switch to the OB GYN clinic. She graduated with a degree in nursing from Gillette College in 2011.

She was inspired to work in health care because she had a very sick daughter. “She was born with a heart condition and down syndrome, and I have cared for her through four open heart surgeries providing her round-the-clock care, feeding tube, giving medications, and so forth. It was a big deal for me at home. From there, I decided health care was a good fit for me,” she says.

Tandie mentions that there are so many people who have been health care heroes for her, but one does stand out a bit: Monte Haddix, RN, who works in the CCMG Family Medicine clinic. “Monte was one of my instructors for a short period of time when I was in nursing school. He had so much passion for the field that it made you try to be the best nurse that you could be,” she says.

When Tandie isn’t working she enjoys camping, spending time with her family and dogs (a german shepherd and a husky), and going for runs.

We asked Tandie what she likes most about working for CCH and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“Working in the OB GYN clinic, I really enjoy seeing the patients that want to come to the doctor because they are so excited about their pregnancy—they are sharing that life experience with you and allowing you to be a part of it. It is really wonderful to experience. I also love that there is great teamwork in the clinic. Everyone is always willing to lend a helping hand, jump in and do whatever they can to make your day go better.

Excellence every day is giving 110% of yourself, even when you don’t feel like it, because your patients deserve it.

Tandie, thank you for giving your all for our patients. We are proud to have you on our team.

Is there a CCH employee who went the extra mile or shows you extraordinary service? Give them a pat on the back by completing an Excellence Every Day card.
