EMS inspires next generation of pre-hospital health care

On Wednesday, February 22, CCH’s Emergency Medical Services staff swung by the Children's Developmental Services Center for a quick presentation on what goes on in an ambulance.

EMS crew members Tracy Arroyos, Dianna Shannon, Sterling Albers and Colleen Long gave these kiddos a tour of the ambulance, let them know what EMTs and Paramedics do to help people who may need to ride in an ambulance, and what their job is like.

On Sunday, February 26, Diana and Colleen gave another group of children a tour at the EMS Base. All the kids got some Junior Paramedic stickers, a pencil and an EMS bracelet.

Maybe these presentations will help inspire the next generation of pre-hospital health care workers!
