Campbell County Memorial Hospital Earns 2018 Top Hospital Quality Award

Gillette, Wyo., (Aug. 30, 2018) — On August 9, 2018, Mountain-Pacific Quality Health recognized Campbell County Health's Campbell County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) with a 2018 Hospital Quality Excellence Award for outstanding performance in effectively using quality assurance performance improvement methodologies to improve care practices. CCMH is one of seven hospitals honored during this year’s Wyoming Quality Health Care Conference held in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

To be eligible for this coveted award, winners had to meet six categories of criteria, including antibiotic stewardship elements, patient and family engagement activities, care coordination elements and leadership qualities. Awardees also had to exhibit strong leadership support for providing quality care.

“This award demonstrates the commitment to quality improvement by everyone at Campbell County Health,” said CEO Andy Fitzgerald. “I applaud the clinicians, caregivers and support staff who keeps the focus on quality care for every patient, every day.”

For more information about CCMH's quality improvement efforts or about this award, contact Sue Ullrich, CCH Director of Quality and Patient Safety, at 307-688-1362.
