Environmental Services Team plays Santa

The team in Campbell County Health's Environmental Services (EVS) department is spreading holiday cheer by adopting two children in the Secret Santa Program.

This program is a joint effort between the Council of Community Services and Campbell County Parks and Recreation Department to ensure underprivileged children in the community celebrate Christmas. Those that write letters to Santa are Campbell County, Wyoming residents 14 and under who meet income requirements.

“I asked and everyone was excited to do it,” said Jeanie Trudo, Environmental Services manager.

The department donated about $300 to fulfill the wishes of a little boy and a little girl in need in our community. EVS purchased new clothes, toys, shoes and movies for the children to open on Christmas morning.

“I had so much fun buying clothes yesterday!” said Jeanie.

Additionally, EVS donated an estimated $200 to provide a holiday meal for the families they sponsored.

Thanks for spreading the holiday cheer to our community, Environmental Services!

For those who don’t know, Environmental and Linen Services is an essential department to all of CCH as it supports patient care by providing a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and staff. Learn more about them at www.cchwyo.org/EVS.
