Stronger Together: EMS Week is May 20-26, 2018

In 1974, President Gerald Ford authorized Emergency Medical Services Week to celebrate EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our communities. In 2018, EMS week takes place from May 20-26.
EMS professionals are so much more than lights and sirens. Every day, they are called upon to help others through one of the most frightening times of their lives. Every day, they provide a sense of security and relief during chaotic and challenging situations. Every day, they do the work that only a select few can do. Our EMS professionals have chosen to answer the call of a career that demands passion, purpose and heart. For that we are grateful. Thank you for all that you do.
