EMS spends time with Meadowlark Elementary students

Earlier this month, CCH Emergency Medical Services spent time with Meadowlark Elementary School staff and students in Gillette, Wyoming as part of their Hometown Heroes Recognition.

These first responders talked with the students about what they do as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Paramedic, when and how to call for help, what to do if you're choking, and showed them the equipment and how it works to save patients' lives. The students were also taken outside and given tours of the ambulances.

Thanks to the students and staff of Meadowlark Elementary School for having EMS visit with you!

If you are interested in having EMS stop by your school, or want to arrange a time to tour the EMS Base, please contact Colleen Long at 307-688-1661 or Colleen.Long@CCHWYO.ORG. Learn more about EMS at www.cchwyo.org/ems.
