Thanks for working here Thursday: Yvette Land, CCH Professional Development

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County, Wyoming community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Say hello to Yvette Land, the Office Coordinator for CCH’s Professional Development, Infection Prevention, Employee Health and Case Management departments in Campbell County, Wyoming. For those who don’t know, Yvette is part of a team that provides annual compliance education, continuing education and assistance with formal education and certificates for all of CCH’s employees. The department partners with several community colleges and universities to offer students clinical experience. Our Health Sciences Education Center is located on the Gillette College campus and provides CCH with the ability to hold several classes concurrently. This department also includes Employee Health and the medical library for staff. The case management side guides employees at CCH, and other organizations in the community, through the injury care process—from onset of injury or illness, to safe return to work or optimal health.

Yvette has worked at CCH for a little over three years, but has worked in healthcare for 11 years in La Grande, Oregon. She was inspired to work in healthcare by her dad who was an OB/GYN in Ontario, Oregon for about 40 years. “He gave everything he had to his patients while he was in practice. He is retired now,” she says.

When she’s not at work, Yvette loves to spend time with her husband, children and grandkids (11), and her animals. “We like hunting, bowfishing, and going to 3-D bow shoots. And I really enjoy quilting and baking when I have the time,” she says.

We asked Yvette what she likes most about working for CCH and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“I love working with the people here at CCH. Watching staff and the doctors, and knowing how much they care for their patients makes me proud to work here. I love my co-workers. They take their jobs seriously and will work hard to get everything done, but they still make it fun, too.

Excellence every day mean truly serving those around you, giving your best in whatever you do and taking pride in your work.”

We agree, Yvette. We are proud to have you on our team.
