Thanks for working here this week: Molly McColley, PharmD, CCMH Pharmacy

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Say hello to Molly McColley, PharmD, a Staff Pharmacist with the Campbell County Memorial Hospital Pharmacy in Gillette, Wyoming. Molly has been with CCH for more than four years, and has been in healthcare for 15 years total; spending 11 years at a retail pharmacy before joining the team with CCH. Molly earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Wyoming (Class of 2005) in Laramie, Wyoming; go Cowboys! For those who don’t know, the CCMH Pharmacy isn't a retail pharmacy, instead it’s responsible for helping with medications prescribed for patients while they are in the hospital. The Pharmacy is also the only dispensary that provides home IV therapy and mixes all of the chemotherapy drugs for the patients at the Heptner Cancer Center.

Molly pursued a career in healthcare because she had a love for science and math. Her health care hero was her grandfather, who stayed in his family business and became a funeral director/mortician. He also owned and operated the local ambulance service and was the county coroner, along with many other community service roles and businesses she says.

“He lost his hearing as a child and did not allow that to hold him back from following his dreams. I loved spending time with my grandpa and grandma at the funeral home/ambulance service when I was growing up,” says Molly.

When Molly isn’t at work, she loves to travel, take part in outdoor adventures, go for hikes, read and enjoy overall fitness activities. Molly is also a parent board member for Wyoming Families for Hands and Voices because her daughter has bilateral hearing loss and is bilaterally aided. She is also in the process of learning American Sign Language (ASL).

We asked Molly what she likes most about working at CCH and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“I love being part of a multi-faceted team and seeing it come together to help the patient. Excellence every day to me is the pharmacy team doing our part, every day, to provide excellence care for our patients.”

Thank you, Molly, for going the extra mile for our patients. We appreciate you.
