
The Heptner Cancer Center at Campbell County Memorial Hospital provides advanced facilities and comprehensive treatment programs including Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy for patients. And, CCH Rehabilitation Services offers cancer rehabilitation to help with swelling, mobility and pain. Services are available in Gillette, Wyoming.
After you receive a diagnosis of cancer from your medical doctor or surgeon, you are referred to the physicians at the Heptner Cancer Center, where you collaborate with other health professionals to develop an individualized treatment plan. The treatment plan is used to implement the most effective treatment possible. CCH is pleased to offer advanced technology including a linear accelerator that zeros in on cancer and breaks up and destroys tumor cells. The center offers the latest chemotherapy medicines in its infusion center as well as targeted therapies that alter specific chemicals within cancer cells.
CCH's Cancer Care team is here for you and your family; to walk beside you. CCH takes a team approach and offers patients access to specially-trained oncology and radiation nurses and doctors, nutritionists, physical and occupational therapists, palliative care specialists, and social workers. The type of cancer, the stage it is in, and the patient's physical condition are all considered when developing a treatment plan. We also offer infusion therapies/treatment in the Infusion Center, which offers IV antibiotics, hydration, Remicade infusions, iron deficiency therapy, and many others.
Chemotherapy, radiation and sometimes surgery are common treatments for people diagnosed with cancer. But almost every cancer patient can benefit from Cancer Rehabilitation at any point in their treatment, even when their disease is in remission. Read more

The Wyoming Cancer Resource Services Program, funded by the Wyoming Department of Health Integrated Cancer Services Program, offers residents from Campbell, Crook, Johnson and Sheridan counties have access to the Cancer Resource Center in the Heptner Cancer Center in Gillette, Wyoming.
Representative Kim Nelson can visit with patients one-on-one at the Center to help them learn about their specific cancer, and how to navigate choices and treatments, and gain access to cancer screenings, wigs, books, education materials, gas cards for travel to out-of-town cancer treatments, and much more.

Close to Home offers hotel-like accommodations for patients and families receiving medical care in Campbell County, Wyoming; as well as hospice inpatient services for the terminally ill. Close to Home is a project by the Campbell County Healthcare Foundation (CCHCF). Close to Home is staffed by the CCHCF alongside volunteer members of our community and trained medical personnel.
Close to Home boasts bright gathering areas and a commercial kitchen for family use. Unlimited visitation from friends and family is provided, and serene landscape for outside gathering in the garden area is maintained.
