Thanks for working here this week: Kimberly Lindeman, RN, BSN CCH Infection Prevention

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Say hello to Kimberly Lindeman, RN, BSN, who is the Infection Preventionist for the CCH Professional Development and Infection Prevention department in Gillette, Wyoming. Kim has been in healthcare for 18 years, and nearly five of those years has been with CCH. Kim has a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and is close to earning a business degree from Gillette College. As an infection preventionist, Kim specializes in preventing infections and helping stop people from getting sick.

Kim was inspired to work in health care because she loves helping people, and finds the human body fascinating to study.

“I think quality healthcare is a privilege and so crucial for a good quality of life,” she says. “I also love learning the processes in the healthcare business as well.”

When asked who her health care hero is, she says that she’s had several.

“Overall, my heroes enjoy their work and their patients. They love learning and helping their colleagues to learn and to be the best they can be at their jobs. They are calm under pressure and don’t give up. Two of them are the Stolpe’s—I have been privileged to work with both of them. I have many others as well. Healthcare lends itself to attracting selfless kind people who want to make the lives of others better," she says.

When Kim isn’t at work, she loves being outside.

“I love hiking in the mountains, walking with my dog, spending time with family and friends, and taking classes,” she says.

We asked Kim what she likes most about working at CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“I love how relentlessly employees and leaders have worked to make the best of the COVID-19 pandemic with all of the CMS/CDC rules and regulations. Everyone wants to protect their patients, families, co-workers, and others every day. I love that sense of Wyoming work ethic and community allegiance that is so special here. I learn something new every day from my co-workers at CCH. I love to learn and this has given me that opportunity. I am grateful to work at CCH again, thank you for the opportunity!

To me, excellence every day means giving your best to your clients, co-workers, and your job duties every day you work for CCH.”

Thank you, Kim, for your passion to learn, and to help keep our patients and our community healthy. We are proud to have you on our team.
