Thanks for working here Thursday: Tristin Mallak, Nutrition Services at The Legacy

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Meet Tristin Mallak, a Food Service Tech in the Nutrition Services department at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center in Gillette, Wyoming. Tristin has been with CCH for the last three years. With nearly 50 employees—including registered dietitians, certified dietary managers, as well as barista’s in our Bistro and Coffee Shoppe, chefs, cooks and servers—Nutrition Services provides high-quality nutritional care to patients, residents and their families, as well as visitors. As a Food Service Tech, Tristin helps: prepare meals; clean and maintain kitchen equipment; receive, store and distribute food and non-food supplies; serve food; wash dishes; and help with retail food sales.

She was inspired to work in health care because of the great opportunities that CCH offers. “I feel like I’m coming to work to help take care of my grandmother,” she says.

When asked who her health care hero is, she names Tara Mooney, RN. “She helps me out a lot—I never have to ask for help, she is always there.”

When Tristin isn’t at work, she loves to bake and do crafts.

We asked Tristin what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“I really enjoy the people I work with, and the residents. The residents thank you for everything and they are so nice about everything you give them or serve them.

Excellence Every Day means that we strive to make the residents happy for whatever they want.”

Thank you, Tristin for helping to make our residents lives great. We appreciate you.

Is there a CCH employee who went the extra mile or shows you extraordinary service? Give them a pat on the back by completing an Excellence Every Day card.
