Laboratory Professionals Get Results

The CCH Lab staff consists of Phlebotomists, Certified Phlebotomists, Lab Assistants, and Certified Lab Assistants, as well as Medical Technicians/Technologists.
Lab professionals collect and perform and evaluate medical laboratory tests that correctly detect, diagnose, and help prevent diseases, thus saving countless lives every day. At Campbell County Health, the laboratory is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our Laboratory currently performs over 240 different tests and references many more to larger labs outside of our organization. They also perform work for local physician and veterinary offices. To give you an idea of workload, in 2020 the CCMH Lab staff perform nearly a million total lab tests a year including:
- 173 Allergenex by Spiriplex screenings
- 2,167 thyroid panels
- 1,767 iron profiles
- 5,827 hemoglobin A1C
- 7,839 Wellness profiles
- 14,815 COVID-19 tests
- 394 COVID-19 Antibody tests
- 31,317 Complete Blood Counts (CBC)
- 41,257 total medical panels
