Thanks for working here this week: Tina Dierking, CCMH Nutrition Services

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Meet Christina (Tina) Dierking, the Nutrition Services Manager at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital cafeteria in Gillette, Wyoming. Tina is a Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional and a ServSafe Instructor. She attended the University of North Dakota and is a current member of the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals. She’s worked for CCH for nearly 20 years (in September 2021), and has worked in healthcare nutrition for 22 total years.

Tina has always been in the food service industry. “Working in the Nutrition healthcare industry is very rewarding,” she says. “Knowing that I can be a part of bringing health and happiness to our patients through something as simple as food is satisfying.”

Tina call her mom her healthcare hero. “She is a resident at the Rolling Hills Healthcare in Belle Fourche, SD. I am inspired by her to always strive for quality food service, knowing how food options are provided to her in her environment.”

When Tina isn’t at work, she loves riding trails in the Black Hills and Big Horn Mountains with her husband, and spending time their now grown children.

We asked Tina what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“The most enjoyable part of working in Nutrition is the ever changing day-to-day events. No two days are the same.

Excellence Every Day is doing my part to make this an organization where others come here for excellent service, rewarding employment and tasty, nutritious food.”

Is there a CCH employee who went the extra mile or shows you extraordinary service? Give them a pat on the back by completing an Excellence Every Day card.

For those who don’t know, March is National Nutrition Month. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition and health—we are all unique with different bodies, goals, backgrounds and tastes! To learn more about the Nutrition services available at CCH, visit www.cchwyo.org/nutrition.
