Campbell County Health enters into Management Services Agreement for The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center

  • Posted On:

GILLETTE, WY – Beginning August 1, 2022, Campbell County Health (CCH) will enter into a management services agreement with Vivage Senior Living to provide resources and support to the Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center (LLRC).

Vivage Senior Living is a recognized operator, manager and business consultant for skilled nursing and senior living communities nationwide. CCH has worked with Vivage in a consulting relationship since 2019 for guidance on improving operations at The Legacy. As a result of the agreement, CCH and LLRC will have access to abundant resources tailored specifically to long term care facilities, to assist with operations and help advance the excellent care
provided to the residents we serve.

“The most important information for everyone to know is that The Legacy is not being sold, and all employees at The Legacy will remain employed by CCH,” said CEO Matt Shahan. “The Legacy is part of our mission to provide a lifetime of care with dedication, skill and compassion.”

“CCH is a wonderful healthcare system that has enjoyed tremendous growth since its beginning,” said The Legacy Administrator Kate Craig. “It has arrived at a point where its various specialty areas (like the Legacy), need special support. The old ‘one size fits all’ for policies and business plans doesn’t work well anymore, and best practices for nursing homes are not the same as best practices for the hospital. Honestly, it is exciting for me to think that, in spite of the tumult and trauma of the pandemic, CCH still stands strong, and we are now at a place to see those specialties develop more fully.”
