Thanks for working here this week: Tracy Fletcher

Meet Tracy Fletcher, department secretary in Rehabilitation Services. In addition to answering phone calls and registering patients as they come in for appointments, she is responsible for coordinating patient schedules, accurately coding services for patient billing, and assisting with medical records.

Tracy has a certificate in Medical Office Management and over 25 years of experience in healthcare before coming to CCH seven years ago. She worked in a family practice clinic while living in California, and a veterinary clinic after moving to Gillette.

Tracy’s mother was the person who inspired her to go into healthcare. She worked in long term care when Tracy was growing up, and always showed compassion, going the extra mile for her patients. As Tracy grew older her mom developed health issues and she stepped in to take care of her, saying “I wanted to have the same compassion that my mom had shown her patients, because she deserved it!”

It’s important to Tracy to give her best to every patient each day, saying “when a patient comes in feeling anxious, I want to make them feel more comfortable and leave smiling, I love talking with our patients and learning about them, they are such interesting people.”

Tracy also praises her coworkers in Rehab Services, saying that they are fantastic make her workday easy and fun.

When she’s not working, Tracy enjoys camping, hunting with her husband Terry, and spending time with her seven grandchildren.

Thank you, Tracy, for taking great care of our patients every day at Campbell County Health. We appreciate all that you do.
