Dr. James Hall Joins CCMG Complex and Internal Medicine Clinic

Law Enforcement as Recreation and Therapy

GILLETTE, Wyo. – Nov. 9, 2022 – A licensed private pilot, retired United States Air Force Captain, licensed Texas Peace Officer, experienced EMS Medical Director, and a self-described law enforcement recreationist. These are some of the many things that describe Dr. James Hall, who joined the Campbell County Medical Group Complex and Internal Medicine clinic earlier last month.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Hall has spent all of his life (except for his military years) in Texas – most recently, Corsicana, Texas. Well-traveled, Dr. Hall was ready to find a place where he could settle down for the latter part of his career.

“I liked a lot of things about Wyoming when I did my research and from talking with people about it,” said Dr. Hall. “One of the things I looked for was where I could have a good quality of life while also practicing good internal medicine.”

Dr. Hall attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Center in San Antonio and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Before attending medical school, Dr. Hall was a trained and accomplished engineer. However, his passion had always been medicine, and like most who have that unique passion, he ultimately decided to become a provider.

In his free time, Dr. Hall enjoys exploring the various sites to see in Wyoming and the Northwest – a region he had not had the opportunity to experience much during all his previous travels. Dr. Hall particularly enjoys law enforcement. For him, patrolling is a way to relax and engage in self-care, and something he enjoys as a non-work-related activity.

“That’s [law enforcement] one of the things I love to do for relaxation and self-therapy,” said Dr. Hall.

Dr. Hall is currently accepting new patients who can schedule appointments by calling (307) 688-3535.

We are proud to welcome such an experienced physician to the Complex and Internal Medicine Clinic and proud to have such a dedicated citizen call Gillette home.
