Mikelle Hallock, CCMH Employee of the Year

Congratulations to Mikelle Hallock for earning the 2013 CCMH Employee of the Year!

Mikelle’s dedication to patients and to her fellow employees in the Heptner Cancer Center was a large part of why she won this award. The following is from the September 2013 PRIDE card, which was submitted to nominate her:

Mikelle is a huge addition to our “Cancer Center Family.” With her big heart, extraordinary skills and compassion to care for others our department is so blessed! We have a cancer patient who is single and has no family to help with daily chores and yard work. The patient is driving to Mayo and Gillette for cancer care and is very fatigued. Mikelle gathered family and friends to drive to Newcastle to clean the patient’s home and mow the yard and left meals in the freezer. She is very dedicated.

Mikelle’s compassionate care for this patient was above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you, Mikelle for being an integral part of CCMH and the community. You are truly a role model!

CCMH is proud of its employees! And, to show it, we've decided to showcase the employees who are recognized as Employees of the Month (or Year in this case) in the CCMH Health Connect Blog. These employees are nominated by patients, as well as CCMH leadership, physicians and staff.
