Caring for those with Alzheimer's Disease: a caregiver's perspective

For those who don’t know, November is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center provides care for those who suffer from dementia and Alzheimer’s, but they also know there are many others who live at home or with relatives. This is why The Legacy sponsors a Caregiver Support Group.

Listen to Janet Kobielisz talk about her experience as a caregiver in this video. In the video, Janet also talks about some early signs of Alzheimer's Disease, which are outlined here.

Caregiver Support Group meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center, 1000 S. Douglas Avenue in Gillette, Wyoming. The free meetings begin at 6:30 pm; light refreshments provided. Learn more at www.cchwyo.org/caregiver.
