Thanks for working here this week: Linda Ducello, RRT, Home Medical Resources

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Allow us to introduce Linda Ducello, RRT, a Registered Respiratory Therapist who works in Home Medical Resources in Gillette, Wyoming. Linda has worked for CCH for 46 years—she’s spent her entire career in healthcare with us! She earned an Associates Degree from Independence University.

For those who don’t know, Home Medical Resources is an HQAA-accredited provider of durable medical equipment, supplies and services. The team is part of a nation-wide membership with contacts for more than 3,500 durable medical equipment providers throughout the United States and the Caribbean.

From a very young age, Linda knew she wanted to help people. “I chose a career in healthcare for this reason” she says.

Linda has several healthcare heroes: Bing Gurner, RRT; Bette Smith, RN; Baerbel Merrill; and Jonni Belden, RN. “Bing is the one that introduced me to Respiratory Therapy and at that time it was Inhalation Therapy. He mentored me and coached me in the beginning of my Respiratory Career. Bette inspired me by her perfection and professionalism, and always providing quality patient care. Baerbel also inspired me by her professionalism and her leadership skills. Jonni inspired me by her determination, enthusiasm, encouragement for professional growth,” she says.

When she’s not working, Linda enjoys spending time with her family. “I love camping, four-wheeling, razor riding, shooting, rodeos, horse racing, card games, board games, gardening, and traveling,” she says. “The best part of my life is my children, their spouses, my handsome grandson, and three beautiful granddaughters.”

We asked Linda what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“I love the HMR department and the team work that is demonstrated every day. The family unit that we have. I love being able to provide patient care every day in some aspect of my job duties.

Excellence every day means providing quality patient care every day, to every patient, every time. Taking the time to listen, comfort and meet the patients need. Always striving to go above and beyond for each and every patient.”

Thank you, Linda, for your continued dedication and commitment to quality patient care. We are proud to have you on our team.
