CCH Behavioral Health Services is Accredited by CARF

Campbell County Health Behavioral Health Services (BHS) has received a three-year accreditation from CARF for its Intensive Outpatient Treatment Adult program, Outpatient Treatment Adult program, and Outpatient Treatment Children and Adolescent program. Accreditation is an impartial and independent review that demonstrates that an organization is striving to improve efficiency, fiscal health, and service delivery—creating a foundation for continuous quality improvement and consumer satisfaction.

CARF International was established in 1966 and is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services. CARF annually accredits thousands of programs and services, serving populations from children to seniors.

The CARF accreditation process starts with an organization’s commitment to continuous improvement and culminates with an external review and recognition that the program and practices meet the highest standard of quality and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a three-year accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.

The onsite survey process includes interviewing staff members, clients and their families, reviewing documentation, answering questions and suggesting ways to improve operations and service delivery.

“We are very pleased to have earned this accreditation for the third consecutive time,” said Matt Miller, BHS Operations Manager. “The surveyors asked our clients about our services as part of the evaluation process. I’m proud to say that our clients described their individual therapists as ‘amazing’, ‘compassionate’, ‘skilled’, ‘a Godsend’; and that they felt they were treated with dignity and respect.”
