
Campbell County Health is hiring people with or without healthcare experience and will pay them to attend the medical assistant certification training at Gillette College and work in a clinic setting when not in class. The certification is one semester and classes begin in late January 2022.
To be considered, you must apply for the Medical Assistant Student position before December 22, 2021. CCH Human Resources will be contacting applicants to schedule interviews that will take place on December 22. Please no walk-ins.
Candidates who are offered positions will begin work as a temporary Campbell County Health employee on January 10, 2022. Work will include orientation, training, shadowing in various locations, regular communication regarding course progress and attending all coursework through Gillette College.
Medical assistant students are expected to pay for course tuition and fees through Gillette College, and will be reimbursed upon completion of the course and delivery of Certified Medical Assistant certificate. Upon successful certification, employment will convert to permanent status and become eligible for benefits.
Medical assistants play an integral role in ensuring hospitals and clinics run smoothly. They are responsible for both administrative and clinical duties.
