Medical Assistant Program
We’re Hiring You to Learn
If you’re interested in working in healthcare, have little to no
experience and don’t want to spend several years in school, becoming
a medical assistant might be a great fit.
Campbell County Health is hiring people with or without healthcare experience
and will pay them to attend the medical assistant certification training at
Gillette College and work in one of three clinic locations when not in class. The certification
is one semester and classes begin January 18, 2021.
To be considered, you must apply for the
Medical Assistant Program by Friday, December 11.
CCH Human Resources will be contacting applicants to schedule interviews
that will take place on Tuesday, December 15 and Wednesday, December 16.

Medical Assistants play an integral role in ensuring hospitals and clinics
run smoothly. Medical assistants are responsible for both administrative
and clinical duties.
Tasks may include but not limited to:
- Medical history
- Vitals and blood pressure
- Collect specimens including blood
- Transport patients as needed

Perform the following testing according to orders:
- EKG – medical device that asses heart function and condition
- Spirometry – medical device that assess lung function
- Audiometry – medical device that measures hearing function

- Starting wage $13.32 minimum with relative experience and 5% increase after
certification
