Becoming an EMT

Campbell County Health Emergency Medical Services and the Wyoming Department of Health and Preventive Medicine offer an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic course to provide the appropriate coursework and skills for the successful completion of the Wyoming EMT Basic Certification. Learn more

CNA Courses

A certified nursing assistant, or CNA, helps patients or clients with healthcare needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Also known as a Nursing Assistant (NA) a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) or a State Tested Nurse Aid (STNA), the individual who carries this title needs a strong work ethic and ability. Learn more

EMS University provides an opportunity for emergency medical professionals to learn and discuss relevant patient care and management issues, as well as a chance to network, meet, and stay connected with other EMS professionals. Learn more

Emergency Medical Responder

Emergency Medical Responders provide immediate lifesaving care to critical patients who access the emergency medical services system. EMRs have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide immediate lifesaving interventions while awaiting additional Emergency Medical Services (EMS) resources to arrive. EMRs also provide assistance to higher-level personnel at the scene of emergencies and during transport. Learn more

Intro to Phlebotomy Class

Campbell County Health Professional Development offers an Introduction to Phlebotomy entry-level course. The course is designed to provide the basic skills to become a phlebotomist (drawing blood in a laboratory or other setting), and includes classroom instruction and hands-on experience. Learn more

LPN IV-C Course

Developed and taught by Campbell County Health, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) IV-C Course is for licensed LPN’s. The LPN IV-C Course is designed to improve fundamental knowledge, skills and abilities to allow the LPN to perform specific infusion therapy procedures. Learn more

Medication Aide (MA-C) Course

Developed and taught by Campbell County Health, the Medication Aide (MA-C) training program is for Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) IIs to learn how to administer medications to non-acute (stable) adults. Learn more
