About Lila
Welcome Lila Blakeman, APRN!
New Walk-in Clinic provider Lila Blakeman knew she wanted to become a nurse practitioner. A registered nurse since 2006, Lila started her graduate school education in 2011, but took a pause to raise her three sons. She moved back to her hometown of Sundance, Wyoming in 2014, and graduated with her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020 from the University of Mary.
Lila comes to CCH from the Hometown Medical Clinic in Newcastle. She is passionate about providing high quality healthcare to all her patients and has always been attracted to small-town, rural communities.
“Every person I see is an individual”, said Lila. “I want to provide the best care, so that patients can have the best outcomes.”
She describes the CCMG Walk-in Clinic as a well-oiled machine.
“We saw over 100 patients on my third day here,” said Lila. “Everything was so smooth that it didn’t seem rushed. Everyone collaborates and communicates well with respect for one another. The clinic is very welcoming.”
Lila commutes to Gillette from Sundance, but she has family in Gillette in case she needs a place to stay.
When she’s not practicing at the Walk-in Clinic, Lila enjoys spending time with her six grandchildren, and pursuing outdoor activities like fishing, boating, camping and riding through the Black Hills on a Harley.
