2023 Journey Program Cohort Announced
GILLETTE, Wyo. – Feb. 23, 2023 – Campbell County Health is excited to share that we have selected the first cohort for the Journey program. The Journey Program is a professional development program for high school students graduating in the Spring of 2023 who are interested in a healthcare career. This year we had 12 accomplished high school seniors apply for the program. Of the 12, CCH selected five to participate in the program's Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) tracks.

The Journey Program is a multi-year program that pairs education and job training. The 2023 cohort will enroll in professional development programs at CCH, and CCH will pay for their college classes and materials. CCH was tremendously impressed with not only those selected for the program but also those who were not. With that in mind, CCH has extended an offer of employment to the seven applicants not admitted to the Journey program. Those seven applicants can take advantage of CCH's employee education resources to start their healthcare careers.

"They embody the future of Excellence Every Day. Truly all twelve applicants had the drive and compassion to be successful healthcare providers - whether through the Journey Program or the traditional employment route, our goal is to jumpstart and cultivate the careers of 12 amazing Campbell County youth."
