Meet Cassity Goetz, PPC - Campbell County Medical Group Kid Clinic Counselor

Campbell County Medical Group Kid Clinic has a new face on its counseling team! Cassity Goetz, PPC, joined Kid Clinic last August as an intern and has since transitioned to a full-time role as of January 2024. With a deep-rooted passion for aiding others, Goetz found her calling in youth counseling early on, driven by a fascination with psychology and childhood development.

"In college, I became really engaged with understanding how the brain works and the different components of psychology and childhood development," said Goetz.

Originally from South Dakota, Goetz was drawn to Gillette due to family ties and her partner's previous connection to the area. She expressed her excitement about the community's strong focus on mental health and its efforts to combat stigmas associated with it.

"One of the things I've been really excited about living in Gillette is the community's focus on mental health issues," she stated.

Goetz passionately emphasizes that everyone, regardless of age, can benefit from mental health counseling. She encourages families not to be afraid to seek support, as there are numerous tools and techniques available to help children navigate behavioral and mental health concerns.

"Raising a kiddo takes a village, and counselors can be a part of that village," Goetz emphasized.

At the Kid Clinic, Goetz looks forward to working with her clients and collaborating with families to a make a difference in the lives of Northeast Wyoming youth. Join us in welcoming Cassity to the CCMG Kid Clinic team!
