Campbell County Medical Group Welcomes Pediatrician Dr. Laurel Green

GILLETTE, Wyo. - Feb. 12. 2024 - Campbell County Medical Group is pleased to announce the arrival of Dr. Laurel Green, MD, to our Main Clinic as a pediatrician. Dr. Green's return to her roots in Wyoming marks a significant addition to our team, bringing a depth of experience and a dedication to providing exceptional care to children.

Originally from Casper, Dr. Green is thrilled to be back in Wyoming, close to her family. Reflecting on her journey into medicine, Dr. Green shares, "I grew up in my dad's pediatric office, which definitely influenced me to pursue a career in medicine." Her early exposure to healthcare, combined with her diagnosis of Type I diabetes as a child, ignited her passion for pediatric care.

Completing her medical education through the WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho) Program and her pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Green brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to CCMG. She is particularly drawn to building strong relationships with her patients and their families, serving as their advocate, especially for those with chronic conditions.

Dr. Green's passion extends to her love for newborns and deliveries, "Being a part of deliveries is the most incredible experience. Sometimes, babies need a little help after delivery, and I love being the person who can help turn things around," she remarked.

Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Green enjoys spending time with her Australian Cattle dog, whom she fondly refers to as her best friend and part-time job. An avid animal lover, she also cares for rescue guinea pigs and jokingly shared that she would adopt every animal if given the chance. Dr. Green also embraces the Wyoming lifestyle in the outdoors and the region's breathtaking beauty.

Join us in welcoming Dr. Laurel Green back to Wyoming, where we know her experience and compassion will elevate the comprehensive pediatric care Campbell County Medical Group offers throughout Northeast Wyoming.
