Heidi Gillette, RD,CDCES

Campbell County Health is excited to welcome Heidi Gillette, RD, CDCES, back to the team as a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. After 23 years with CCH, Heidi has returned with a passion for helping individuals take control of their health and bringing diabetes education back to the community.

Heidi's primary focus is to help build the diabetes education program and ensure patients that they have local resources to help them navigate life with diabetes. She is committed to helping individuals, including newly diagnosed patients and those looking for additional support, better understand diabetes and feel confident managing it.

"I love working with people and seeing them succeed," Heidi said. "It's rewarding to help patients realize they can manage their diabetes and make changes that improve their health."

As someone living with diabetes herself, Heidi understands many of the challenges her patients face. That personal experience allows her to connect with patients on a deeper level and meet them where they are. She believes education should feel approachable and individualized, helping each person find realistic solutions that fit their lifestyle.

Heidi provides education and support for diabetes management, including medications, insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitors, supplies, nutrition, and lifestyle changes. She also offers diabetes education classes and is working to expand services throughout northeast Wyoming, including Gillette, Wright, Hulett, Sheridan, and Buffalo.

Outside of work, Heidi enjoys camping, cooking, and spending time with her husband and their six Labrador Retrievers. She says her husband is her biggest supporter, and together they enjoy making the most of Wyoming's outdoors. Their dogs always keep life busy and provide the perfect way to unwind after a long day.
