About Jacy

We're excited to welcome Jacy Todd, MSN, FNP-C, CCRN, to the Campbell County Health Walk-In Clinic.

Originally from South Bend, Indiana, Jacy now lives near Banner, Wyoming, with her husband, Kyle. Together they enjoy ranching, hunting, and the Wyoming outdoors. When she's not caring for patients, you'll likely find her horseback riding, hiking, spending time with her two rescue dogs, or helping with their family outfitting business. Jacy and her husband also proudly serve their community as part-time volunteer firefighters and EMS providers in Ucross, Wyoming.

Although her first degree was in marketing, life took an unexpected turn after her husband was diagnosed with lymphoma shortly after they were married. Walking alongside him during chemotherapy inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare.
"I never imagined I'd work in medicine," Jacy said. "Watching my husband go through cancer treatment sparked something in me. It gave me a new perspective and ultimately led me to become a nurse and later a nurse practitioner."

Jacy earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming before completing her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati. She began her healthcare career as an ICU nurse before working as a travel nurse, gaining experience in both intensive care and emergency medicine. Those fast-paced environments prepared her well for walk-in care.

"I enjoy the variety," she said. "You never know what's going to walk through the door, and I like being able to help people when they need it most." Her approach to patient care centers on compassion, trust, and meeting people where they are. "Patients place a lot of trust in us in a very short amount of time," Jacy said. "I don't take that responsibility lightly. It's an honor to care for people, and I'll do everything I can to help them."
When asked why she chose Campbell County Health, Jacy shared that during her clinical rotations in the region, she felt drawn to both the community and the organization. "When I learned about this opportunity, I knew this was where I was supposed to be," she said. "Everyone I met during my interview seemed genuinely happy to work here, and that really stood out to me."

She also appreciates the welcoming nature of the Gillette community. "All of my patients here have been very kind and accepting," she said. "It feels like a community where people genuinely care about one another, and that's something I wanted to be a part of."

For patients who may feel nervous about seeking care, Jacy offers reassurance: "Your health is my number one priority. Thank you for trusting us. I'll do everything I can to make sure you receive the care and support you need."
