About Jolene

Campbell County Health is pleased to welcome Jolene Barth, LPC, to the Kid Clinic team as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has experience working in school settings, outpatient behavioral health, private practice, residential care, and pediatric settings. Her passion for helping children and families makes her a wonderful addition to the team.

Jolene earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Dickinson State University in North Dakota before completing her master's degree at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas. She previously worked as an outpatient counselor at Campbell County Health and has also served as a school counselor at Stocktrail Elementary, Rawhide Elementary, and Recluse School.

Jolene began her career in education before pursuing counseling. She realized she enjoyed working one-on-one with children, allowing her to build stronger relationships and provide more individualized support.

"I've always felt like working with kids is where I belong," Jolene said. "Helping children work through challenges and seeing them grow is incredibly rewarding."

At the Kid Clinic, Jolene primarily works with children ages 4 and older. She uses play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where children feel safe to express themselves. She works with children experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, bullying, family transitions, school-related challenges, and emotional adjustment. Jolene believes every child is unique and tailors her approach to meet each child's individual needs.

Parents and caregivers are an important part of the counseling process. Jolene partners with families throughout treatment to better understand each child's needs and develop strategies that support progress both at home and in therapy.

"I want therapy to be a place children enjoy coming to," she said. "When they feel safe and comfortable, they're more willing to open up and work through what's challenging them."

Outside of work, Jolene enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, attending rodeos, and traveling. She is excited to join the team and continue helping children build healthy coping skills in a supportive environment.

Please join us in welcoming Jolene Barth to Campbell County Health. We are excited to have her expertise and compassion as part of our Kid Clinic team.
