Student must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, have a current Wyoming CNA unencumbered license, and have completed at least 1,500 hours of documented work as a CNA. Please note the student is responsible for getting the required textbooks. The Class Registration fee does not include the cost of the books. There are four weeks of four hour online assignments per week prior to the classroom dates.

What does a CNA do?

CNAs responsibilities include maintaining patient hygiene, supporting doctors and nurses in medical procedures and technical treatments, patient charting, and explaining care instructions to patients.

A certified nursing assistant, or CNA, helps patients or clients with healthcare needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Also known as a Nursing Assistant (NA) a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) or a State Tested Nurse Aid (STNA), the individual who carries this title needs a strong work ethic and ability.​
