CCH Summer 2023 Camp Med Applications Now Available
GILLETTE, Wyo. – April 25, 2023 – Campbell County Health (CCH) is hosting three sessions of Camp Med this summer. Camp Med is a one-day camp to introduce 11 and 12 year olds to careers in health care. Participants may visit various departments such as surgery, radiology, the Lab, Rehab and orthopedics as well as learn CPR and tour EMS. Previous campers are not allowed to repeat the camp so others have a chance to attend.
This summer’s Camp Med schedule:
- Tuesday, June 20 from 9 am-4 pm
- Tuesday, July 11 from 9 am-4 pm
- Tuesday, July 18 from 9 am-4 pm
All sessions take place at Campbell County Memorial Hospital (CCMH), 501 S. Burma Avenue in Gillette, Wyoming.
Camp Med is free for participants; however, space is limited—there is room for 12 participants per session. Applications are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be downloaded at https://www.cchwyo.org/about-us/ways-to-give/volunteers/. Applications are due on Friday, May 19, and may be returned to the PBX in the hospital lobby or Volunteer Services Coordinator Chris Buxton, located on the ground floor of the hospital in Marketing and Communications, Monday-Thursday, 8 am-4 pm.
