About Valerie
Val Amstadt says she is happy to be back. A physician assistant with a special interest in pediatrics, Val recently returned to Campbell County Medical Group (CCMG) after a year-long hiatus. She came to Gillette, Wyoming, in 2014 from Milwaukee, WI, where she worked in the Pediatric Emergency Medicine department of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Val completed her Master of Medical Science and Physician Assistant certificate program at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL.
Val was originally recruited to practice at the Kid Clinic, a collaboration between CCMG and Campbell County School District that provides primary medical care and mental health services to children in the community. Val is now practicing at CCMG Pediatrics, working with pediatrician Dr. Francesca McCaffrey in the Main Clinic. She is thrilled to be back in a pediatric practice as taking care of children is truly her passion, and says she just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with such top-notch physicians.
Val and her husband Bob have two children, Hailey (3) and Emma (21 months). They enjoy all things outdoors but really enjoy fishing, hiking and camping during the summer months.
CCMG Pediatrics provides complete healthcare for children, from infancy to adolescence (21 years old) in Gillette, Wyoming. The Clinic is located in the Main Clinic at 501 S. Burma Avenue in Gillette, Wyoming, on the south side of Campbell County Memorial Hospital. Learn more about this practice at www.cchwyo.org/peds.
