I'm so grateful for their hard work and for going that extra mile to make my baby smile in this scary situation!

Yesterday, November 1, 2018, Perla V Ocon posted on Facebook about her daughter's experience with the care team on the Campbell County Memorial Hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Check out what she has to say:

A HUGE rave to Campbell County Memorial Hospital! My daughter was in the ICU for a week and she missed out on Halloween. She mentioned to one of the nurses she wanted to be a bee for Halloween, so the nurse brought her a couple of coworkers dressed as bees to see her! Today is her birthday and we finally got to go home this morning but they didn’t disappoint her. Staff brought her a cake and a cookie. I'm so grateful for their hard work and for going that extra mile to make my baby smile in this scary situation! Thank you again ICU staff and to Dr. Koduri and Dr. Hartsaw... Nurses that stood out were Rocky, Ashley, Iva, Trish, Emily, Emily (student nurse), and Heidi! They all work so hard and I want them to know that I appreciate everything they did; even when they just had a small conversation with me!

Thanks, Perla for sharing your story with us. We certainly hope your little Bee is on the mend.
